Biloxi, MS :
The Mardi Gras Lounge in the Travel Lodge Motel at 2460 Beach Rd. had a live band every night or almost every night. The music is designed from ballroom and social dancers. The dance floor is about one and a half times the size of the floor at the Silver Slipper. Admission is free. None are smoke or alcohol free.

Gulfport, MS :
Michael's (Best Western Motel) at US-49 and I-10 is a C/W bar where lessons in west coast swing given on Friday nights. Lessons given other nights also. DJ music with more than adequate wood floor. $3 over . Not smoke or alcohol free.

There's a Sunday dinner-dance at the Gulfport Elk's Lodge (228-864-7551) on Highway 90 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., with a live band every Sunday. The cost is $8 per person and that includes dinner

Mobile Alabama area

The Azalea Ballroom Dance Club in Mobile, Alabama has dances with bands on the first and third Tuesday of every month at the Elk's Lodge located on Dauphin Island Parkway.

There's plenty of dancing on the east side of Mobile Bay. First off, there's a dance on the second and fourth Thursday of every month at 8 to 11 p.m. at the James P. Nix center. Doors open at 6pm at 161 N. Section Street in Fairhope, Alabama (334-928-2835). The cost is $8 .
